How to Create Financial Freedom online As an Affiliate Marketer?

Can you make money online as an Affiliate Marketer? There’s no better time than now to create your financial freedom and make money online. With over 3 billion now actively using the internet, we’re well into a colossal change in how our world does business. We’re living in an age where there are no longer any limitations on what you can achieve based on geographic location or lack of financial resources.
If you have an internet connection and a few dollars in your bank account, there is little that can actually get in the way of you making some extra money or a full income online.
Where To Begin?
While there are literally hundreds of clever ways to make money online, from taking online surveys, which I personally would not recommend, as it seems like the slowest process to making money because you literally have to fit into a specific criterion to be able to give a genuine opinion. As for those who claim to rent or sell their old clothes, I hope they are honest enough to declare the clothes as used clothing, and, that may be handy just for short term earnings. There are those who sell their old gadgets to someone in a different country or even buying low-cost products locally, or from abroad, to resell them for a higher price on Amazon. There’s really no shortage of unique ways to make money online.
Having mentioned all the above I can’t help but keep thinking of Zig Ziglar’s quote: What you get by achieving your goals is not as important as what you become by achieving your goals.
Please don’t fall for the trap of “Easy Money”
There is no such thing as an online get-rich-quick scheme.
Most of the quick ways people talk about when it comes to making money online are not real businesses; they are just quick ways for gullible tricksters looking to rob new unassuming online users who are looking for alternative ways to earn money. Sure, some of the ideas may be good for creating a few hundred or even thousand dollars as onetime only revenue. But they’re not going to help you unleash your financial freedom and achieve complete control of your lifestyle. Yes, there have been shortcuts, that have worked for some in the past in the days of “Opportunities” with network marketing giants like Amway, and many others, which seemed to fizzle out due to market saturation benefiting only those at the top or turned out to be scams in the end due to overpricing and faulty selling strategies that left a lot of damaged relationships.
Alternative Opportunities
The internet has opened up so many opportunities for entrepreneurs and forward-thinking workers. It has also opened up alternate ways to the way businesses operate and how consumers behave when purchasing products. It is all a new game plan, and this has also opened up considerable competition and confusion for many.
Here’s the hard truth: The only ways to make money online in any lasting manner, involve putting in real time, effort, blood, sweat, and tears.
This isn’t to scare you off. I simply want you to know that here are we going to focus solely on ways to make real, sustainable extra income online, not just a few bucks. I want you to avoid all the pitfalls and have a step-by-step guide to building your online Financial Freedom. The Right Attitude is imperative to succeed online as most of the common ideas have been taken, you can still work with them but you need to stand out, you have to be smart, look for the best opportunities and be completely unique in the ways you approach making money online.

The online space is very competitive, so the more you can differentiate your offering from all the other offers, the better the chance at success you will have.
Cool, let’s now get into how to make money online with an Affiliate business.
What is an Affiliate business?
Affiliate business is a business that earns a commission by promoting other people’s (or company’s) products. You find a product you like, promote it to others and earn a piece of the profit for each sale that you make. Read More about the history of Affiliate Marketing.
Now, what do we need to accomplish this?
1) I believe it is very important to sit down and think clearly about what it is that you want to accomplish. Find Your Voice. 
2) Take stock of the resources you have right now, we all have these four basic resources, namely Time, Energy, Money and Relationships – Rate yourself in these areas on a scale of 1-10. 1 being the weakest and 10 being the strongest resource. Time:___________ Energy:_____________ Money:______________ Relationships:_________________
3) What is your weakest resource right now? Why do you consider this the weakest area?
4) What is the strongest resource? Why do you consider this the strongest resource?
5) What is your second best resource? Why?
6) Now I would like you to sit and consider what tasks and traits you are good at. Make a list of the things you are really good at. Just have a brainstorm and write them all down then rate them from the highest level of excellence to the lowest.
7) Now think about all the tasks and traits you consider yourself a failure at doing, write them all down and rate them from the highest level of failure to the lowest.
8) Now look at each list and consider how you could make each task and trait serve you and benefit you. Could you use it to make money out of it?
The reason we are doing this exercise is basically that, the purpose of life is progress, everything grows from something smaller than itself. Most of the time applying the law of requisite variety may serve to the greater good for an individual, so all parts are to be considered and used.
One of my mentors called this: making the devil pay you for your troubles. In other words, could you use your pain for gain? Yes, sir! You sure can and should.
So everything in your life that has ever happened, no matter how grim or hurtful, embarrassing or bizarre can be used to serve you!
OK, Now Let’s Move On
So now, I hope the above exercise has given you an idea of what your angle, your niche or voice might be.
Since we are looking at Affiliate Marketing as our tool to create and earn Financial Freedom online, we are going to need to create a blog where we can showcase the products we are choosing to promote or to showcase our services if we intend to offer services, like public speaking, coaching, consulting etc.
Having a blog requires you to:

- Choose a name for your blog and buy a domain
- Find a Hosting Provider
- Choose a Blogging Platform – Content Management System
- Take your ideas that you brainstormed in the previous exercise and use them to find your Niche. – This should be something like this: I help people who:_______________________This will help you decide what to blog about.
Then you have to:
- Choose a Design and Theme for your blog
- Create your Main Pages (About page, Contact page, Privacy Policy Page – I call these pages the skeleton for your page as they are essential to your blog)
- Next Step is the Content Strategy, now the fun begins… You have to do some research and get to know your Audience thoroughly in order to express yourself in a language they understand
- Commit to creating quality content that your audience love to read, enjoy and respond to.
