From Zero to Hero – Transformation

From Zero to Hero – How to go through Transformation with Ease?

The process of transformation is inevitable and imperative to achieving our goals of Financial Freedom online. In Business, you will go through a lot of changes in order to stay on top of your game, so this story might help.  Back in 2015, I was in Costa Rica, I visited this beautiful Butterfly Garden in the Rainforest region of Sarapiqui. I took the above picture as our beautiful Costa Rican guide told us the stories of about the transformation or metamorphosis of the butterflies. Two stories made me think of my own life and the processes I have gone through, perhaps you will also relate…?

Here is the Butterfly Transformation story:

When the egg hatches, the caterpillar will start its work and eat the leaf it is born onto. This is imperative because the mother butterfly needs to lay her eggs on the type of leaf the caterpillar will eat – each caterpillar type likes only certain types of leaves. Since they are tiny and cannot travel to a new plant, the caterpillar needs to hatch on the kind of leaf it wants to eat. Caterpillars need to eat a lot so they can grow quickly.

When a caterpillar is born, it is extremely small, as it starts eating, it instantly starts growing and expanding. Their skin (exoskeleton) does not stretch or grow, so they grow by shedding the outgrown skin (sloughing) several times while it grows. Before transforming to the next stage, the caterpillar loses its head – it just falls off… [Does that sound familiar…? If not watch this space…]

Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche, a German Mystic as I like to call him wrote: Mancher findet sein Herz Nicht eher, als bis er seinen Kopf verliert – which loosely translates: Some do not find their heart until they lose their head.

A great Book says: Be ye transformed by the renewal of your mind! That really means in order to move on you must shed the old ways of thinking and dealing… The transformation of the butterfly illustrates this so perfectly for me…

More Transformation…?

As soon as a caterpillar is done growing and they have reached their full length and weight, they form themselves into a pupa, also known as a chrysalis. From the outside of the pupa, it looks as if the caterpillar may just be resting, but the inside is where all of the action is. Inside the pupa, the caterpillar is rapidly changing. The image above is a picture of some chrysalis.

The funniest thing is that the plainest looking chrysalis transforms into the most beautiful butterflies whereas the gold-laced most beautiful chrysalis transforms into very plain-looking butterflies… [Do you think there is a lesson somewhere there to ponder for a moment…?]

Never underestimate your essence Beautiful Being! It doesn’t matter what your life looks like right now during your transformation… It is what you are becoming that is the key focus. Lose your head – get out of the mass collective ways of thinking that say “you should, ought to be, yadda, yadda” Even if it looks like nothing much is happening in your life beautiful Being – The Divine Creative Consciousness in you, around you and through you, is working the divine miracle of your transformation.

Years ago, I was travelling with a colleague from London to Birmingham and back… He was going through a transformation and we talked about the butterfly’s transformational process and then we started wondering if the butterfly knows what it will become whilst it’s in the process of transformation… When it loses its head, does it panic…? Or does it just flow with the process…? Does it just trust the process to occur…?

Now that I know and have an intimate relationship with nature, I can solemnly say that the caterpillar let’s go and allows the process to just occur… If it were to struggle and resist losing its head it would not see the next stage of the process – most humans resist the process of life and resist the unknown… Nature doesn’t resist, nature doesn’t align – it just is.

You know, caterpillars are short, stubby and have no wings at all, yet, whilst within the chrysalis, the old body parts of the caterpillar undergo a remarkable transformation, called ‘metamorphosis,’ and become the beautiful features that make up the butterfly that will emerge. Tissue, limbs and organs of a caterpillar are all changed by the time the pupa is finished, and then comes the final stage of a butterfly’s life cycle.

Self-Talk

Dear Human Being, you are not the final stage of your being, you are only a seed that has infinite potential for infinite possibilities… We have not yet seen what this seed can be in full potency – we are having inklings – we have seen some great avatars who we have labelled as mystics, gurus, Christs, inventors and all sorts of containers or boxes so that we could feel good about having defined something and putting parameters (limitations) to the infinite potency of that thing.

Do you know what you are? What are you? Infinite potency and ever-evolving potentiality..? I am that I am..? I..?

Then the Final Transformation Occurs

Finally, when the caterpillar has done all of its forming and changing inside the pupa, an adult butterfly emerges. butterfly When the butterfly first emerges from the chrysalis, both of its wings are going to be soft and folded against its body. This is because the butterfly had to fit all its new parts inside of the pupa.

Energy cannot be created or destroyed, it only changes from one form to another. – Albert Einstein

Dear Human Being, what if this was not your final form? As soon as the butterfly has rested after coming out of the chrysalis, it pumps blood into the wings in order to get them working and flapping – then it gets to fly. Usually, within a three to four hours period, the butterfly will master flying.

According to Wikipedia, the butterfly goes to a complete transformation called Holometabolism.  What if your state was just temporary so that you could fit into the stages of transformation you were going through…? What if you no longer must hold on to what you were told was “normal” or “not normal”? Who wrote those rules anyway? Have you ever thought of that? Open your heart! Listen, Listen to your heart!
